The NeoVegetarian Healthy Shopping List highlights ingredients that should have a place in everyone's pantry.
To qualify for the healthy shopping list, and ingredient must be healthy itself (like most vegetables) or it adds a unique flavor to healthy foods (in small enough amounts) that it helps create a healthy dish.
Another way a food might make the "healthy shopping list" is if it is semi-healthy and super-convenient. To keep us from eating crap when we are lazy.
